Dear all,
With this post, I would like to wish you all the best for the coming year, 2017!!! Incredible!
I hope that you had a nice year, and that the coming year will be even better for you. Let it be full of colour, happiness and love!
At this time of the year, I (like many others) like to look back at the year. Painting wise, this year has been quite the awakening, as you might have read in this post. I’m still in the process of writing things down about some of the lessons that I’ve learned and the things I still struggle with.
This year I have painted 9 miniatures, of which 6 you can see above. Two of these nine were a commission and they have not yet been shown by the company. I will share them with you when I can. For me it is actually quite a lot of miniatures to paint in one year, so I’m really happy with that!
Personally it has been a rocky year. There were some downs, I had to say goodbye to my dear Grandpa, but also many ups. It has also been an incredibly busy year, and I found that my full-time job is way more demanding than I initially thought. Still, this year saw the launch of this new website, and I am quite happy about that. Content-wise it still has to grow and I am currently working on a number of tutorials and reviews, so be sure to lookout for that!
Right now I am also working on four miniatures, three of which can be seen below. It is a dangerous thing for me to do, as it could lead to me dismissing a piece altogether. However, it does help me to paint whatever I want at a certain moment, and if I get stuck on one mini I can continue another.
For now, Happy Painting everyone!

I do the same to avoid creative block, also trying new mediums helps when you are stuck 🙂 Happy new year
All the best in the new year!
