Hi everyone,
I wanted to re-introduce the “favorites” posts on my blogs. I did this a while back to share some links with you guys, including paintjobs that inspire me, new releases that caught my eye and other interesting things like tutorials or blog posts by fellow hobby enthousiasts 🙂
So here are my favorites from last month:
Paintjobs
Zorabeth by Meg Maples I love this paintjob by Meg. The metallics look really great, but I especially love the skin of the lady and that beautiful, stunning face!
Giberlingi by Hors These are really cute miniatues, I just really like anthropomorphic characters. The vibrant colours of this paintjob fits the minis extremely well, and I like how the three figures fit together so well.
Wood Elven lady by Jessica Rich I don’t erally know what to say about this piece. It is just so amazing! I cannot find anything I don’t like about it. And talk about freehand heaven 😉
Steampunk Arielle by Marike Reimer Marike is my favorite painter, I just absolutely love her style. Although she won Crystal Brush this year with another piece, this one is my favorite of her entries. Sebastian Archer’s amazing sculpt helps a lot of course, but this paintjob just makes me watch and drool for a long time.
Ice Queen by Patrick Kaiser Love the cool colours on this figure, and the extremly soft blends on the feminine skin.
Sculpt entry in Crystal Brush This sculpt is really inspiring I think. I would really love to paint it 🙂 Unfortunately I have no idea who sculpted this. I believe it is part of the miniature line / game (Twisted) by a new manufacturer, Demented Games, but I actually am not sure. Maybe anyone can tell me?

Architect advanced painting guide by Scott Hockley I just really enjoy watchinga figure painted step by step. This lovely Kingdom sculpt is painted lovely by Scott, and I especially like to see how he painted the skin.
Tom Schadle on Games Workshops new hobby tools I think all of you agree that miniature painting, and the including base making, is not a cheap hobby. But it is just ridiculous how easily it is to really rip people off by selling products much more expensive than it needs to be. Tom makes a side-by-side comparison between “normal”-priced tools and the new tools released by GW.
