Hi everyone,
I really enjoy reading and browsing through people’s favourites lists. And therefore, I decided to start making monthly lists as well, showing you my favourites of the past month. These include new releases, favourite paintjobs and/or sculpts but also events that I attended and newly discovered blogs or websites that I really enjoy 🙂
So here goes the first list, of September 2012.
Favourite paintjobs & sculpts
Lord of Tzeentch on disc by HopeRiver – Wow the freehands are amazing!
Pixie Trickster by Miguel Matias – Wonderful to see how such a small mini can have so much character
Elfin Standard Bearer by Ana – This is Ana’s style at it’s finest 🙂 Love the colour contrasts.
Chaos Space Marine Hellbrute by fantasygames.com.pl – Shows what you can do with these new quality sculpts from GW, when stepping outside of the box and doing something completely different than the box art.
Favourite websites & blogs
Serpentarium – Founded only two months ago, this is a great blog. It also has some very useful tutorials
Skinner’s Miniatures – I especially enjoy looking at the galleries on this website
Favourite tutorial
“Painting a marble and tile flying base” by James Wappel – Great step by step tutorial, explaining how James makes and paints his signature marble bases.
Others
Something that absolutely cannot be left out of this list is the workshop by Roman Lappat (Jarhead), that I attended this past weekend in Hamburg. What an amazing event it was! I learned many things and met many great people. If you ever have the chance to go, do it! Make an effort, it’s worth it! A full report, including pictures and the results of the workshop will follow in the next few days 🙂
I hope you enjoyed my list!

I'm glad the tutorial was useful 🙂 So many people ask me about the bases! Eventually I will be putting up more base building tutorials.
Deep Kong Fu bow to you! Can't wait for the review! It was my pleasure to have you with us!
Thank you for your attention to our blog;)
